Allied Health Marketing Automation I am Obsessed With.

In 2024, not using automation in your marketing can mean missing out on significant opportunities. Leveraging marketing automation is crucial for keeping your practice competitive and accessible. In this blog post, I’ll share my favourite allied health marketing automation strategies that have helped me save time, boost client engagement, and grow my practice. These strategies can benefit yours too. From blog content creation to social media calendar automation, I’ve got you covered!

Allied Health Marketing Automation What?

Marketing automation is a powerful tool that streamlines and automates repetitive marketing tasks, freeing up time and resources for allied health business owners to focus on what they do best, caring for their clients. For those in the allied health field, automating marketing is more than just a convenience; it’s a necessity. It helps you stay competitive, improves client acquisition and engagement, and supports practice growth.

It can seem overwhelming, and you might feel like you need to be an expert to use it effectively. If you’re unsure where to start or didn’t even know this was a possibility, you’re not alone.

In this blog post, we’ll explore key areas like blog content creation, social media automation, or email marketing calendar automation, offering practical tips and tools to simplify your marketing efforts and maximise your reach.

Blog Content Creation

The challenge with writing about healthcare is that you need to understand the field well. You have to know how to communicate by respecting everyone and being informed about the topic (don’t make things up!).

Understanding what keywords are effective and what your audience is searching for is also critical for SEO. (https://answerthepublic.com/ is your friend).

Consistent content is key to keeping your audience engaged and informed which means that regularly updating your blog with valuable information yes is important for SEO but also positions your practice as a trusted resource (supporting you in ranking high on Google).

Social Media Automation

In the hustle and bustle of a busy allied health practice, it’s crucial to streamline your workflow wherever possible. Social media automation can be a lifesaver. This is how my social media system works:

1. Recording on the Go

Apps like Evernote, Slack, and OneNote are perfect for jotting down ideas and recording thoughts anytime, anywhere—no more missed eureka moments!

2. Transcript and Summarise

Once recorded, the audio can be transcribed and summarised by AI, and automatically converted into different formats, such as text, image, or video.

3. Reviewing Content

Don’t forget to review your content to ensure it’s accurate and relevant (and that AI input isn’t too obvious).

4. Automated Posting

You don’t need to schedule or post manually. Automation should allow you to pick a date, click a button, and move on.

Welcome Sequence

First impressions matter and a well-crafted welcome sequence sets the tone for new clients and helps build trust from the get-go.

Automated emails can make this process seamless and efficient.

Using tools like Mailchimp or ActiveCampaign, you can design a sequence of emails to welcome new clients, provide essential information, and guide them on what to expect. Personalisation is key here; ensure your emails address clients by name and include specifics relevant to their needs or queries, e.g., a speech therapy sequence or a physiotherapy welcome pack.

This approach makes clients feel valued and helps cement a lasting relationship from the start.

Lead Magnet Generation

When it comes to attracting new clients to your allied health practice, a lead magnet can be a powerful tool. Simply put, a lead magnet is a valuable resource offered in exchange for potential clients’ contact information. This could be anything from informative eBooks and checklists to engaging video tutorials. The goal is to provide something of value that addresses a specific need or problem your target audience has.

Once you have your content, automation tools like Leadpages or OptinMonster can help you create and manage these lead magnets, ensuring you capture leads effortlessly and grow your client base consistently.

Automation scenarios in Make.com can also assist you in designing and building the lead magnet. One of my clients asked me to do exactly this, and voila! I created a form they used to generate the lead magnet. The form fed an AI module that created the content, adapted it to a Google Slide, and presented it beautifully. With a bit of touch-ups and your own input, these resources can be very effective in lead generation!

Email Marketing Calendar Automation

Having a well-planned email marketing calendar is crucial for maintaining consistency and staying organised. Automating scheduling can save time and reduce manual work by allowing you to schedule and send your emails automatically.

These tools streamline the process and ensure timely delivery.

Imagine not having to worry about sending emails for school holidays, Christmas closures, public holidays, quality surveys, and more, knowing they’re already taken care of.

Conclusion

To wrap things up, deploying various marketing automation strategies can transform the marketing department of your allied health practice.

By incorporating these automation techniques, you save valuable time and enhance the overall client experience, allowing you to focus on what truly matters: providing excellent care.

So take the plunge and start automating today. Happy automating!
